Colin Tidings joined Equitable Advisors, LLC in 2025 following a successful career in the U.S. Army and in business management. Colin currently holds his New York State Life and Health Insurance License as well as his SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 Registrations.
As an advisor, Colin is passionate about helping people develop their own personalized financial strategy plans. His disciplined approach, shaped by years of military service and leadership, helps clients make well-informed decisions about their financial future. Colin is committed to providing strategies that are individually tailored to each client’s needs and goals, guiding them toward financial security and long-term legacy building.
Originally from Lansingburgh, New York, Colin now resides in Watervliet with his wife of five years and their two young children, Colin (age 3) and Keegan (age 1). He is actively involved in the Capital Region Veterans Memorial, the McNulty Center, the Chamber of Commerce, and the American Red Cross. Outside of work, Colin enjoys volunteering, supporting veteran organizations, hiking, and playing lacrosse.
