Born in Auburn, NY Joe DiMora is a graduate of the State University College at Oswego. In 1984 after several years with a lobbyist firm at the State Capital in Albany, Joe relocated back to Auburn and began his career as a Financial Professional.
In his first two years Joe produced at the National Leaders Corps and Million Dollar Round Table Levels. Joe entered the management training program in 1986 and in 1988 was promoted to District Manager/VP. The District went on to receive the District Leadership Award six times. In 1993 and 1994, Joe’s district was the Gold National Builders Trophy winner, setting new company records and making Joe the first District Manager ever to post more than 2,000 District Leadership Award points. In 1995 Joe was appointed Executive Vice President to the Syracuse branch office, managing 86 associates including offices in Utica and Binghamton. In the last seven years the Syracuse office has been awarded the President’s Trophy six times, including the Platinum Award in 1999 and Chairman’s Trophy in 2000.
Joe earned his Chartered Life Underwriter professional designation of the American College in 1994 and is a FINRA Registered Principal. Joe has been very active in community affairs, both in Onondaga and Cayuga Counties working with The American Heart Association, Make-A-Wish of CNY and The United Way.
